it seems that Music playback is completely brocken; with Emby client, it causes the app to crash and from Plex client, it simply does nothing (but does not crash)!
Where are you playing it from? Debuglog please
both from the home screen and the music library don't work.
Sorry, No debug log possible now; I left home.

Feedback Opacity DVBLink/TVMosaic PVR.

Bottom Info bar (Live TV):
We need a user setting for the timer how long that Bottom Info bar stays on screen, when the user doesn't give any input on touch pad or Logitech remote.

PVR control bar (Live TV):
We need a separate timer for bringing up PVR controls (FW/BW, play/pause, record, channel list, guide) and also a user setting for that. Now I see a combined timer of 5s that is being used for bringing up the bottom Info bar AND PVR controls.
If I go to PVR controls after staying for 4 seconds on Info bar, the PVR controls are only shown for 1 second, if I don't give any touch pad or Logitech remote input.

Also the logic now, to only get extended EPG program info in Top Info bar, for the running program, should only be one click away, as it used to be. Now it is quite a challenge to get there, which requires some "finger magic" with touch pad remote, but also on Logitech remote.

there is a setting for it, OSD timeout or some such

NO new settings will be added, lets find the sweet spot for it and lets not confuse others with additional settings. i'll see if we can reset the timer when the info bar closes.

we didn't want it showing with the new OSD bar, now it has an additional action... you can't have both :)

if new TV info bar is showing, up/down or back(menu) will bring the top bar with additional info.

That doesn't work (channel switch/clicking center touch pad), I tested with setting of 10s, timer activated already on 5s for channel change, but also for clicking center touch pad.
-----------
Edit:
There seems to be separate timers for channel change and for clicking center on touch pad, regarding the Bottom Info bar display time, correct ? Also experienced that changing the channel change OSD time settings, only worked after restarting MrMC.
-----------
Related to that, the setting "Close channel OSD after changing channel" also doesn't work anymore. Disabling this setting doesn't keep Bottom Info bar open.

If you also can solve it with a Timer reset, than it is problem solved :-)

Can understand that, but situation is not ideal for WAF and kids (or the average user), so we can brainstorm about that.
amet wrote: 25 Mar 2019, 11:46 if new TV info bar is showing, up/down or back(menu) will bring the top bar with additional info.
No, its more complicated.

When Bottom Info bar is up:
- up/down changes channel

When Bottom Info bar is up:
- menu brings up ONLY PVR controls

So getting to Top Info bar when playing a Live TV channel requires:
- click center touch pad (or OK on Logitech remote)
- menu
- swipe down (or press up on Logitech remote)

That 3 steps is not ideal, for getting in Top Info bar, to see extended EPG program Info or change subs/audio/video settings.

- fix Atmos packaging issue
- plex: sort by title as default in movie and tvshow lists
- plex: maintain section list order as per Plex Server
- opacity: Live TV OSD, needs confirmation on regular video content

Live OSD:
its getting there slowly, let me know if its working ok and showing up okay. We can tweak images, font sizes and colours later. I do not want to change the resolution images and aspect ratio images as that's tied in deep into core and how we process that information. there will be some silly channel that doesn't have correct info and we won't be able to show correct image... that's why its text based now.

Encrypted channels are marked with "$" .. think of dreambox days :)

Plex:
- maintain section list order as per Plex Server, we attempt to show the list of sections as its listed in Plex Server(web UI), let us know if this works
- default sort order is now titles, was playlists before (don't ask why)
WOW ๐Ÿ˜
Currently I am very satisfied with the presentation. And the $ icon is great for the beginning.
Many thanks for that ๐Ÿ˜‰

The images for the resolution etc. are okay. Let's leave it untouched. It was just an idea of โ€‹โ€‹mine and should not give you an unnecessary amount of work ๐Ÿ˜Š

I have found a small error currently in the infobar. The From - To time is not displayed in bold on the NOW program.
For the NEXT display, the font is displayed in bold.

Otherwise, I have nothing to complain about first โ˜บ๏ธ

PS: And many, many thanks for the adjusted remaining time ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

What I noticed is that the images have different sizes. Could you swap the arrangement?

As an example: aspect ratio under resolution and 5.1 also under Dolby Digital.
Then the differences should not be noticed.
In addition, then audio and resolution is contiguous.

@Montoya and @Ted377

Letโ€™s move this to opacity subforum to keep this thread clean.

You both have different opinions and we need to find the most functional solution

I know you're going for alphabetical order but now the tvOS home screen shows recently added movies and tv in alphabetical order instead of what's actually most recently added. ;)
