try it with display switching turn offcosmoxl wrote: 27 Jan 2019, 18:45 With the last two builds I'm getting the problem of DD+ Atmos files hanging with 1 or 2 seconds left and then some 30 seconds later exiting out of the video. And during playback if I click menu to exit out of the video midway there's a several second delay before it does so. I tested and this happens using an NFS source as well as the usual Plex client.

Turning off display switching prevents the hang.davilla wrote: 27 Jan 2019, 21:16try it with display switching turn offcosmoxl wrote: 27 Jan 2019, 18:45 With the last two builds I'm getting the problem of DD+ Atmos files hanging with 1 or 2 seconds left and then some 30 seconds later exiting out of the video. full debuglog please, can't tell what's going on when the log is cut.monkbolt wrote: 28 Jan 2019, 12:43 I'm sorry to get everyone's hopes up with my passthrough bug reports for tvOS 11 but it's broken in the latest build as well, I can't even start a video with an AC3 track with passthrough enabled - here's the log.
VideoToolBox decoder does not handle HDR, use AVF decoder if you want 1080p HDR.zonly1 wrote: 28 Jan 2019, 23:03 When playing back a 1080p HDR file, it does not switch colorspace to HDR. It switches correctly for 4K files. I have my AppleTV set to 4K SDR with match range and frame rate set to on.
If I set the output to 4K HDR, it falsely switches to SDR for the 1080p HDR file. Works correctly for all other files.
The file also plays back correctly on the SHIELD.
