Hi can anyone help with this? It's when playing live tv it takes 4-5 seconds to start playback which means in soccer matches i get notifications before it happens on screen.
I suspect this is just normal buffering.
On a semi-related subject, I remember a post somewhere for last world cup on how different channels have different "latency" vs. real-time, so the best approach is probably to disable your phone notifications, anyway
Okay thanks koying, but it doesn't affect my Shield boxes. It doesn't have this amount of buffering.

I've been having constant problems with the Plex service on MrMC. It often (but not always) can't connect to the server, I've even had trouble just logging in to Plex when troubleshooting (I got the 'couldn't retrieve the auth token' error several times but eventually was able to connect). Sometimes it initially connects but then loses the connection. I'm not sure it has anything to do with any recent changes you've made, but it did work flawlessly when you first introduced this feature. I tried rolling back to previous builds, even tried reinstalling the app and using the App Store app on my iPad, but the problem was present in all of those version. I haven't changed anything in my Plex configuration. I tried another app with Plex integration and it doesn't seem to have this problem. The first-party Plex client also works well. I even tried reinstalling the Plex server on my PC and disabling the Windows 10 firewall - to no avail. I'm not sure what else to do. Here's the
debug log.

Rolling back to a previous TestFlight fixes the issue for you?
Yes.
Build 180603.2257 has the problem - no skip forward or back in live tv (DVBLink extension) but can ff or rw.
But, build 180531.1352 works like it should.

DNKK?
Did you enable the web server in mrmc?
We still follow that route atm. Planning for something different for latter versions...

Yes I have it enabled. And playnext has a movie that I have paused in between. But no channels though.
P.S what DNKK I just randomly asked a question

@koying re the shield TV build (tvOS doesn't have this bug)
https://paste2.org/mp4w1Jx8
I want to submit again the bug that my local plex server, using plex client, isn't seen, but my friend's remote server *is*.....until I go into the plex client settings (services) and click on my user name. Then my local server is available.
Thanks.
