I bought a new AppleTV right after Christmas and had to start MrMC from scratch. I just noticed today that my TV library is missing The Simpsons. It just doesn't scrub that TV Show folder. When I go to it manually in Media Sources, it say 0 videos. If I try to refresh the TV Show, it goes through the right steps and appears to be downloading information but it doesn't get applied to the show.
I still can't upload a log.
Do you add your own xml (nfo) data to your shows ? I use tiny mediamanager or mediaelch to do this.

No I don't. The show had been fine for years until I moved to the new AppleTV. The files and folders unchanged.

16:45:12.757 T:6102052864 DEBUG: VideoInfoScanner: Adding new item to tvshows:smb://JMAC:445/Television/The Simpsons/
16:45:13.184 T:6102052864 ERROR: SQL: [MyVideos116] Undefined MySQL error: Code (1406)
There is some info to be found in google on error 1406. It’s a mqsql error
16:45:13.401 T:6102052864 ERROR: VideoInfoScanner: Asked to lookup episode smb://JMAC:445/Television/The Simpsons/Season 10/The Simpsons s10e01 - Lard of the Dance.avi online, but we have no episode guide. Check your tvshow.nfo and make sure the <episodeguide> tag is in place.
And the above error repeats for a lot of episodes. Again looks like a
MySQL error
I don’t see an easy fix, so I can let you know what I would do:
- It looks like a
MySQL error. You could manually remove the tv-show the simpsons and it’s episode from
MySQL.
- I would consider renaming all the files to to a different naming scheme. Tinymediamanager can do that or filebot.
- I would use mediaelch or tinymediamanager to generate all the metadata for the tv-show and the episodes. If there are issues with episodes you will notice it with one of these apps. And rescan into the database.
- Or after cleaning the
MySQL use mrmc to rescan with the tvdb and rebuild the fresh data into the database. I use phpmyadmin for manual maintenance on my
MySQL database.

Thanks. I tried renaming one of the season's files and it made no difference. How do I manually remove the show from SQL?
I tried those 2 apps and after 10-15 minutes couldn't get anything to scrape.

Looks like it could be two problems,
mysql and something file related ?
Could you narrow it down ? Rebuild the entire tvshow. Create a new folder outside of MrMC reach, and copy season 1 to that location. Use mediaelch / tinymediamanager to only scrape the tv-show info, save that (Tinymediamanger does that automatically) And then scrape only episodes info per season. Repeat per season and see how far you can get. That way you can find out what is going on. If it all succeeds you still have the
MySQL issue.
I use phpmyadmin to manually manage my
mysql database, but I believe you are on macOS and not an NAS. I have no experience with
mysql on a mac. But doesn’t the app you use to create the
mysql have an editor with a search and remove entry function ?

Hi, my understanding is the
MySQL is just command line on the Mac. If there's an app, I'm not aware of it. I might just delete the database and start over first. I have a hunch it's the database. The files in question have been the same for years. I've redone my database a couple of times and never had problem with them before.
