Sorry to hijack this, but I have the same problem (i.e. nothing changed in version 1.3.0).
My setup is ATV to Denon W1200 with high end HDMI cable and I get only static white noise as soon as I choose pass through.

I restarted the ATV, no change. I yanked the plug out of the wall to make sure everything was reset: appletv, receiver, tv, satellite box, etc... Same deal, no passthrough. Receiver is Onkyo TX-SR508. Passthrough worked fine with MrMC before, it's just the 1.3 update that stopped working.davilla wrote:reboot. I've seen passthrough get restored on a reboot.

I somehow guessed (based on many other posts on this subject).
