Quick question to Dev Team on NVidia Shield.
Now that Android Oreo (with new libraries) has been made available on the Shield, is there any way to successfully solve the well know issues on Automatic Resolution / Colorspace Switch in MrMC?
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again
Any mention of illegal streaming sites, addons or any pirated material will not be tolerated. This is not democracy and any offenders will be banned and posts deleted immediately without warning.
Other than that, we hope you enjoy MrMC so far and we welcome any input and feedback you might have.

I think this is what he's referring to, but it looks like it's more conversion than switching to me.

Has some potential for non Surface Mediacodec, possibly.
But out-of-scope of 3.7.0, anyway

Regarding the Plex Extension...
Are there any plans to implement Top Shelf? Implement Rotten Tomato review snippets? Thumbnails in ff/rew. Is there a better place to ask questions or discuss the Plex Ext?

@koying
updated Shield again this morning.
The only change in behavior that I'm seeing is that upon first start the plex client didn't connect to my plex server. But, the plex extension worked. I had to go into settings>services>plex> and click on my username to force the client to connect.
Exit and restart and the plex client seems to work just fine.
I'm not seeing any change in behavior of the extensions button bottom left as reported to you before. What should I expect to see?

Fantastic work BTW, the remaining PVR stuff is the only part of the puzzle missing for my usage.pecinko wrote: 28 May 2018, 07:59 Unfortunately skin changes in Ariana did not make it to this TestFlight. I have almost finished up complete PVR support and I'm working on a few things I noticed in the meantime. Ariana will soon be completely finished! Hopefully this will be available for you to test in next TestFlight
In the meantime, take a look at fast scrolling. From what I tested yesterday, latest TestFlight should resolve all issues in Ariana as well as making fast scroll work for other skins.
Scrolling thru long lists of movies definitely feels quicker and no longer stops after 2 or 3 titles.

HUmm, strange. the repos seem to be in sync (https://github.com/MrMC/skin.ariana/tree/master-mrmc) and I rebuild skins before archiving for testflight. I'll recheck.pecinko wrote: 28 May 2018, 07:59 Unfortunately skin changes in Ariana did not make it to this TestFlight.
