Any news about the release?
Have Apple reported any problems and why they haven't released the new version? it's been over 2 weeks now .

Nothing from Apple, iOS has cleared in few hours but tvOS is stuck in review.
We have removed 3.9.8 and renamed it to 3.9.9 to resubmit, it’s been a week since... still nothing. We have to wait ...

I have been checking For an 3.9.9 daily. What is up with Apple’s review method ? Is there an update on this ?

3.9.9 is out for tvOS... no changes from 3.9.8 except the version number. We bumped the version to be able to submit the new one for approval.
