It's a regression based on being in the App Store. Apple is much more picky about reviewing and we got ponked on bad behavior. As would Kodi :)

Thanks Davilla for the quick reply. Does this mean that being able to play music in the background will not be supported? Or will we just have to wait for an acceptable fix? :?

Once we get some breathing room, it can be re-addressed. Again, Apple is very picky about audio in the background. When that phone rings, you better do the right thing because they will check.

Got it, thanks. For selfish reasons, is there an issue tracking system where I can log this? Being able to play music in the background is a key feature for me. ;)

Never mind. Figured it out after reading some other threads. Time zone issue!
How did you resolve the issue, I have not been able to find a solution in the forums for ac3 or dts audio? Thank you.

Yeah turning off automatic time zone in iOS settings fixed it, but now I am Johannesburg, South Africa...lol, thanks for the info Davilla.
