Do these match that of using the "Computers" app on Apple TV 4K (through iTunes homesharing) ?
ah I should have thought about that first. No, sharing the same test pattern through itunes>computers shows levels up to 253.
ok, will mod the fix to ignore non-hdr content

Interesting. I thought that 0-15/236-255 (and 10/12-bit equivalents) were always clipped on the Apple TV 4K. Will have to check again.

It's an interesting thing. The apple tv 4 and 4k aren't the only devices output up to 253 to my TV - the shield tv has done it, though it doesn't do it now, and roku ultra does it.

When shield experience 6.x came out ycbcr 444 8bit began to only show up to 235. When I questioned people about it I was told that was correct. So, I figured the update to MrMC was also showing me correct levels now. But, the "native player" of ATV and the Roku say otherwise. :?

Concerning the plex “in progress” ordering, it seems that there is something wrong even in the last build. Using my plex library, the in-progress elements in my home view are aligned with the in-progress list that I can see using the submenu Tv series->In progress. Anyway both of them seem to be different to the corresponding list in plex app/server since the most recent element are not on the top of the queue. You can see the difference into the attached images. ImageImage

Well.. if a device clips to 16-235 it is not necessarily a bad thing. It just means that you can't use such a device to set the brightness (black level)or contrast on your display. There are many devices that actually passthrough super-blacks/whites (I prefer to use these terms). Like you mentioned, Shield used to do that, but it doesn't anymore.

I will have to re-check the Apple TV 4K.

Sorry for that :D now i found the button on my harmony. it's not the seeking forward button which i used to use in kodi. but now i realized that on right click hold down there is only one step (8x) forward. from kodi, and i think in a privously version of mrmc, you could let it seek when right click hold down. and when you want to stop it, you had to press play.

is this feature lost now?

More than one tv show library? It is really strange that none of the items match...
