Ok, makes sense.

All right a new issue I just found instead:
When I tried to unpause a movie after the screensaver had kicked in, using play/pause button, the screensaver vanished, the audio started playing but the video was a freeze frame of the last played frame.
Have you changed the play/pause behavior in this regard?

Can't give you log either because it's yesterday's log, with the previous build, isn't that weird?

possible, there was a late change in pause/play behavior. Seemed ok but might has cause a regression.

Update on audio blips.

It seems they were related to the "threshhold for pitch correction" feature.

Since I use "sync to display" the default of 3 for that threshold leads to times of drastic pitch change in the audio. Setting it to 0 worked quite well until the update to ffmpeg.

Now I have it set at 2 and all seems OK. I'll have to keep testing to see if the pitch changes are annoying again.

Also, just cosmetics, but I think three second timeout for osd is too short, maybe five?
What do you others think?

The further FFMpeg bump in 170501.1517 does not seem to have changed GoPro video behaviour

Just updated and tested a bit on the apple tv.

1) overlay of codec info now causes bad stuttering in video playback.

2) when transcoding from plex playback skips at least the first second or two. In the log is one where for some reason the first 10 seconds are skipped. If I try to skip back, 10 seconds into the video is as far back as it'll go.
