Plex for Kodi-addon works great in the beta, I haven't run into a single issue after testing this extensively the last day on my Apple TV 4K.
Will the Plex for Kodi-addon support streaming from my Plex-server when I'm on a remote network with my iPhone or iPad? If yes, I´ll have to buy the MrMC Touch for my iPhone and iPad!
yes on both, but we have to fix up some hit rects to support touch devices better.

Fantastic! I just requested a TestFlight-code for trying out the iOs-app and I´m sure I´ll end up buying the touch-version as soon as you have it polished and ready for release.

debuglog again when hanging. You sure that response from plex server is just not slow ?
I tried this last night, it never hung for me on AppleTV 4K.

FYI, testflight for iOS are stalled until we fix up hit rects. Otherwise it will just be frustrating to navigate when in plex for kodi.

FYI - I am here with my tail between my legs. I have been extremely hard, unfairly so, on MrMc on another forum, but this new update is truly wonderful. My sincere apologies. Congratulations and good work.
I know what you have written on that other forum where I'm active too and I'm glad you opened your eyes, what great and fast progress MrMC is making the last couple of months, so BIG Kudos @Devs.
Let's hope, after debugging of the MrMC Plex addon is finalized that it is mature enough to be released as stable, that MrMC Devs are planning the same treatment for Emby users. Because I noticed that the Plex addon for MrMC is Direct Playing content on the Apple TV from the Plex server, while the same movie in the official Plex Apple TV app is transcoded by the server !!!

It hangs ever time on my non-4K ATV, unless I force shut the app. It leaves me at the main menu at either Addons or Plex. This log left me at Plex. It hangs there (forever) then I have to manually click once at Plex, and then it goes through the remaining 3 screens by itself.
I’m not a developer but it reminds me of when I used to write macros in Excel and sometimes they didn’t complete when I ran them.

What we call a 'race' two or more areas of code are racing each other. Success depends on proper order of which gets there first

I see. Well I’m rooting for Plex to win the race, but that hasn’t helped

Just curious, what do you mean when you say hit rects?
