2. Selected advanced options. Left the option to copy video as I couldn't move the slider in MacOS...
in Windows, when the slider is greyed out, you just click ok and then go right back into advanced options and the slider will move, it's a bug. might be the same on Mac?

I have know played With the ripping part and this is my discovery.

Some bluray have no problem With ripping at 40/50 mBits but som Movies will just freeze and not play.
If i set the max bitrate to 30 Mbits all Movies play and skip forward bacward With no problem.
Sound is ac3 or eac3 both work

I have know tested the 40mbits rip from my nas and the problem is same as with plex. IT plays for few seconds and then freze 10 sekund before IT plays again in 2-3 second.

whoa so apparently there are already movies being ripped with this method and then remuxed into mkv with the hd audio track, like what I'm wanting to do with the .ts container as I didn't think mkv would work.
Escape Room 2019 2160p DolbyVision WEB-DL DTS-HD MA 5.1 H.265-BLUTONiUM"

> NOTE: The Dolby Vision in this release is not like UHD Blu-Ray Dolby Vision where the dynamic layer is separate. This is single layer DVHE (High Efficiency Video Coding with Dolby Vision). Most if not all Dolby Vision TV's will be able to playback in Dolby Vision. This is also why it is muxable to Matroska (MKV) therefore allowing HD Audio too.
anyone have one of these rips to test in MrMC? or do you wanna try mkvtoolnix on a single layer mp4? deselect the ac3 track and add in the hd-audio one instead? :) I can try when I get home later..
