Try it via smb/nfs rather than through plex client
It should, my X4200W and X6500H both support LPCM and Atmos. What are you referring to with Rec? I have it set to auto switch based on the video format on my Shield and ATV4K.Everbrave wrote: 15 Jan 2019, 11:11
This means that the Receiver must support LPCM audio, i.e. Denon X2500H is dropped out of my selection; which Rec. do you use?
I did not notice that before, but I have the same problemcosmoxl wrote: 15 Jan 2019, 22:56 Seeing a problem with tvOS home shelf posters not getting updated after I change them in Plex. To be clear, I had a movie that was unmatched. What showed was some thumbnail that Plex generated. Then I matched it and got a pretty poster. The old thumbnail remains on tvOS homeshelf.
Inside MrMC the change is quickly reflected but tvOS home shelf isn't changing even after a reboot.
Can anybody else confirm or do I chalk this up to some electromagnetic field interference like the hanging at 1 second left?![]()
When I wrote that I meant just any other file. But, see what I wrote above. Seems there was some temporary glitch. I'm not seeing the hang anymore. I'll let you know if it comes back.
Stupid question, does the audio track have to be E-AC3 ? You can convert TrueHD tracks to E-AC3 using e.g. FFMPEG, but the Atmos metadata is lost (same for eac3to, a PC tool). Not sure if there are any tools to do the trick.timstephens24 wrote: 14 Jan 2019, 22:00 No issues so far, and the two files I have with EAC-3 plus Atmos plays back as Atmos.
Atmos is packaged as extra data with only two formats, TrueHD and eac3. For now, MrMC only supports atmos if it is carried by eac3. There are no known tools or methods that can repackage truehd/atmos into eac3/atmos.loekf2 wrote: 16 Jan 2019, 06:50Stupid question, does the audio track have to be E-AC3 ? Was googling a bit. Got the impression with a recent ffmpeg and/or eac3to there are options.davilla wrote: 16 Jan 2019, 14:43Atmos is packaged as extra data with only two formats, TrueHD and eac3.
