Yes, Plex Service for Movies and TVshows.

SMB for videos on network share.
SMB working fine for media playback.

Can not play any movie or TV Show using Plex service on AppleTV4k or iPhone using 3.7.

Reverting builds on both devices and everything fine again.
Any chance we can get a debuglog for that?

Yes, can provide debug log, but will have to install 3.7 build onto my devices again.

Noticed that when playing Movie, nothing happens...then after a while, a playback error occurs.
MrMC then appears to lockup, and navigation does not work.
Can exit the app, but when opened again, no navigation control.

Have to reboot, to navigate the GUI again. (Using 3rd party remote)

Going to reload 3.61 build now, so my system works again.

GooglePlay - Android TV version - 3.7.0

Tested IEC audio passthrough changes on my 2017 Sony Bravia Android TV running Android TV 7

MrMC Settings -
Enable Passthrough - IEC checked
Dolby Digital - no audio / loud static sounds
DTS - plays correctly

Enable Passthrough - IEC unchecked
Dolby Digital - plays correctly
DTS - no sound

probably more an issue with the TV then MrMC as I beleive Sony use a hacked driver for DTS passthrough in the inbuilt video player app.

Strange... Works for me and it makes little sense DTS would work but not AC3.
What are the characteristics of the AC3 test? Did you try multiple ones?

You don't have to fiddle with codecs. If "HDR display" is "No" and a HDR file is detected, MrMC will automatically fallback the AMC non-surface.

Now, ffmpeg is confused by "file.mo" (DV) and do not provide the needed info for detection. I might need a sample to see what can be done.

"file.mk" should be ok, not sure why it falls back on s/w decoding. Maybe because of the codec fiddling?
Is it the "full white" one? I could tell more with a sample as well.
Setting codecs back to default doesn't fix all problems. I'm not getting fall back to software but when I was last night I did have non-surface enabled. stuff is weird.

https://sylvan.apple.com/Aerials/2x/Vid ... R_HEVC.mov

That's the file.mo (DV). When I played that just now surface was used instead of non-surface. Detection has been worked on a lot, I thought in core (not tvOS/iOS specific), so not sure why the problem now.

http://4kmedia.org/sony-camping-in-nature-4k-demo/

The demo file here is another one I test with. For this non-surface is used, but no tonemapping is happening.

As well, no tonemapping is happening on other HDR files I have in my collection.

Something I'm seeing is that refresh rate switching isn't happening for 4k files. It's not just HDR files as I test with Tears of Steel in 4k SDR which is 24p and it doesn't switch. But, 1080p23 are switching just fine, for example. MrMC does show 24p and 23.976p as options.
