There is no Emby addon... yet
There is an internal Emby Client :)

Oh...sorry. Oops. I misread the notes.

What is the current status of the need to apply an audio offset delay of 0.250s? It doesn’t look like it has been corrected yet. I am trying to keep an eye on it, just so I can remove the delay if need be. I thought I was going crazy for a few days in the last beta until I saw others mentioning it haha.

It's something we will be looking into under this TestFlight, we will give a notice here when we start diddling with it.

What would be helpful is to understand under what conditions this is needed, is it 250ms for all audio formats ? Also how the audio is setup is helpfull, if using ARC and such.

For me, it appears to occur with all flavors of DTS and Dolby. No ARC. No passthrough. I will test a bit more tonight however.

MrMC # of channels, anything changed in system -> audio settings ?
Using display rate switching ? 25/30/50/60/24 fps content ?

7.1 channels chosen. Nothing else changed. Yes, I am using display rate switching. Problem occurs at 24p, 25p, 50p and 60p...that’s all I’ve used so far. Seems to be the same delay across the board, but I will confirm by about 4pm Eastern.

I have my receiver set to auto lip-sync, with zero delay on the ATV4k input.

MrMC passthrough is off
MrMC sync to display is off
MrMC set to 7.1 channels
tvOS and MrMC set to match frame rate
tvOS set to "best quality available"

The only time I need to do heavy adjustment to audio sync (delay of 125-150ms) is for 23.976 material. All other is close to zero - 40ms at most which I just adjust as I'm watching. My default sync in MrMC is 0.

Okay, after further testing...my initial posts about this were incorrect.

I am seeing the same thing as Cosmoxl, in terms of types of content. I am also using exactly the same settings. 23.976 content requires an offset delay. Mine is at 0.250ms, but I will experiment with how accurate that is. 30p/60p content is fine for me.

EDIT: I tested several 23.976 files and a delay of 0.250ms is perfect for me. My 29.97 files must be at 0 however.

MrMC passthrough is off
MrMC sync to display is off
MrMC set to 7.1 channels
tvOS and MrMC set to match frame rate
tvOS set to "best quality available"
No ARC
Same issue regardless of codec

Heads up, the next TestFlight push will alter iOS/tvOS a/v sync. For me, I was running 150ms delay, now zero.

Do not use codec debug OSD to adjust a/v sync. Use test clips or actual video content.
