Re: *** MrMC on iOS released ***
It works, thank you again!
But is it realy so simple? Nothing with creating .xml files?
I have just to set up mySQL on my Synology NAS and create an user. After that i have to enable SQL in mrmc on apple tv and iphone, update the library and finish. Thats all?
Edit: okay it works with TV Shows, Movies and Music (after manually exporting the library). I think for pictures ans private-videos (like clips from the mobile phone) i have to add the source on every device?

Ahhh, I see my mistake. I left AVFoundation switched on as well.amet wrote: it works if I enable VTB
With only VTB switched on it works for me, too
Anyway, if you need another tester
Thank you and regards

Just so users know, AVF codec is new, really new. Internal tests showed no issues but that never means there will never be an issue. So we made it default so issues would be force into the open. AVF codec is much, much faster than FFMpeg or VTB. It is the future

Still puzzling why it did not make it into tvOS if I understood you correctly. Just installed it on my Air 2. I see some playback issues with my 26 GB Transformers Dark Side Of The Moon MKV. It plays fine as long you don't try to seek (go forward or back). I see green frames and things just hang. You can pause, but never start again.iHLindi wrote:As long as we can switch back if neededdavilla wrote:Just so users know, AVF codec is new, really new. Other than that, compliments for this version.

Both VTB and AVF use APIs that are not permitted under tvOS. They are permitted under iOS.

Re: *** MrMC on iOS released ***
I noticed that I am unable to play music in the background with MrMC. Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch MrMC, play music file.
2. Send MrMC to background.
3. Swipe up to bring up control center.
4. Pressing play button does not resume playing music.
This worked fine in Kodi 15.2, was broken somewhere in Jarvis, and then Memphiz merged a fix into the Kodi master branch on Nov 8.
Is this another regression, or was the fork created sometime between the regression and the bug fix?
Thanks everyone for the great work!
