This isn't a good idea I think. It worked way better with just white.

I knew it wasn't an issue with MrMc only, but I wanted to be sure it wasn't just an issue with me. Seems Apple should fix it.jabohn wrote: 15 Oct 2017, 23:28This started for me when Apple released a new version of the TestFlight app. I think it's that app, not MrMC.Itzme1234 wrote: 15 Oct 2017, 20:34 Sorry this is a bit off topic but when I go into the tvOS TestFlight I can no longer tell at a glance if MrMc has a new beta or not. Has something changed in TestFlight? Have we always had to click into MrMc in TestFlight to see what's going on (open or update).
Davilla, were you able to reproduce the bug on your side with the movie sample I provided?Lollypop wrote: 15 Oct 2017, 06:30That was a recording. Here is actual movie sample with both audio and video streams:davilla wrote: 15 Oct 2017, 01:03 That audio sample sounds the same playing under OSX (not under MrMC) as under the AppleTV4/4k. Heavily Distorted that is. There is something wrong with to. Plus, it's not ac3, it's AAC.
Or is this a recoding of what you are hearing ?

I have to get on a fast net to download the sample. Should be able to fetch it in a few hours. Tell me how you have MrMC audio and tvOS audio setup so I can match it.Lollypop wrote: 16 Oct 2017, 13:40Davilla, were you able to reproduce the bug on your side with the movie sample I provided?Lollypop wrote: 15 Oct 2017, 06:30That was a recording. When i roll back to 3.1.0 app store version with these settings the audio plays fine but with the latest testflight, they audio is messed up.
Need actual filename so I can pull it down. As I've mentioned before, I think the real issue is an ffmpeg or mkvmerge issue and we are trying to do a detect/work-around. Some hevc/hdr are scaled right, some are wrong.timstephens24 wrote: 16 Oct 2017, 22:33 Subtitles for X-Men Apocalypse were still grey.
