Good old DVBLink and, in my opinion not so good replacement, TVMosaic (regarding config. options), can pause and skip BW/FW IPTV, by using a standard or configurable time-shift buffer.

TVHeadend has that too, correct ?
So maybe you could load a free IPTV list from the internet in TVHeadend, for testing purposes.

I have a little thing that I haven't noticed yet.

Currently you have shown the from/to time as: 16:00 : 16:45.
Can you change it with a minus? Ex. 16:00 - 16:45

hopefully all is ok now, skip and time format changed

Will test it later and report

If you are using 3.9.7 TestFlight version, check "Scenario E" from this post below, to navigate to Top Info Bar, to change subtitle settings during Live TV:
