Compressed DV sounds horrible. Whats better uncompressed HDR10 or compressed DV....I wouldnt call that a solution

compressed video vs compressed audio is usually dependent on your setup. if you have a 50" tv with a 7.2.4 sound system you'd want lossless audio+atmos. if you have a 75" tv with a soundbar you'd want lossless video. I'm just trying to provide options. there's never a perfect solution for everyone. compressed dv is still dolby vision though. the base hdr10 video track is compressed a bit yeah, but the specular highlights and the extra per frame dynamic range that dv offers is still just as beautiful. try watching a few new movies on Netflix in dolby vision. the dv is amazing (and the compression is actually getting a lot better these days). these single layer DV movies would look even better than that, but in full hd audio + atmos. it's definitely worth looking into, imo.

I have know have tried dvdfab and made a dolby vision rip from my venom disk. This file will only play sound no picture in mrmc. IT will not play in plex app on lg oled. I can only play IT direct from harddisk on lg oled.
Maybee I do something wrong. I have taken away copy and put the slider to Max.

Can you post the mediainfo for the mp4? It might still be dual layer if you didn't choose the correct profile.

Yea that's a proper single layer mp4. glad it works on your tv usb to confirm it plays right. now to get it working in MrMC I'm assuming you just need to turn it into a .ts file like the LG Demo's. here's how:
You should get a single layer ts file with dolby vision and hd-audio that hopefully plays everything right in MrMC / e-arc TV's :)

what the, where'd the el+rpu go? what happens when you try and demux the mp4 in TSMuxer? it probably doesn't recognize get recognized. there HAS to be a way to demux the video track while retaining dv. I know when I demux the single layer LG demo files in TSMuxer it works just fine. must be an issue with the mp4 container. perhaps dolby mp4demuxer has a certain trigger you need to include to attach the el+rpu onto the video track while demuxing
