Made some HDR comparisons between MrMC, TV's built-in player (Samsung KS8000) and madVR. It looks as if black levels are a bit elevated but only in some scenes not throughout a full movie. Color seems a bit over saturated with MrMC. The TV's player and madVR look identical. So maybe the elevated black levels have something to do with incorrect MaxCLL and MaxFALL and min/max luminance metadata as wesk05 pointed out? Also he only mentions White Point: 0.3127, 0.329 but where are the color primaries like R: x=0.680000 y=0.320000, G: x=0.265000 y=0.690000, B: x=0.150000 y=0.060000. Is it not passed with MrMC?

We pass then up, tvOS does not seem to be passing them on. See 3.3.1 testflight thread and continue there.
