I salute that goal, BUT I hope you'll give us the option to keep ff/rew as it is today. One of the main reasons I use MrMc is because it currently gives my 3rd party remote its Skip back button (10 seconds) and Skip forward (30 seconds) exactly like my Directv remote. I'm not even sure how the remote is programmed to do that but it's one of my favorite features. The remote just has a device code for the ATV, circa version 1.amet wrote: 14 Jan 2018, 10:34intentionally for nowEverbrave wrote: 14 Jan 2018, 10:03
... There is no repetitive scroll when holding the the lower/upper edge; intentionally or to still to come?
current idea is to mimic how Apple does everything with Siri remote and navigation , so we will be changing how ff/rew works, how OSD is called up and how some of the OSD submenus are displayed.

Awesome indeed
Is this live scrubbing also supported in channels from PVR's with timeshift for Live TV, so live scrubbing info is taken from timeshift buffer from backend or is it for library content only ?

That could make me put down my 3rd party remote and pick up the Siri remote. I usually only do that when testing.

It’s aimed at library only for now, but extending it to livetv should be possible ... not sure we can get the thumb from the bufferMontoya wrote: 15 Jan 2018, 02:18 Awesome indeed

I love live-scrubbing on other apps. This would be an amazing addition to MrMC!
