libdsm now works properly with user/pass in my testing.

However, it still can't see my windows shared folders when browsing. Was the new logging meant to catch that?

browsing to add a media source. libdsm sees other SMB servers but not my windows 10 desktop shared folders.

libsmbclient sees my desktop just fine.

as I said earlier, I figured libdsm doesn't see the desktop due to me messing with NTLM or SMB version or something a while back.

BTW, other apps don't see my desktop smb either (e.g. VLC)

nope, it would be called 'desktop'.

but it's not in the list of available servers when browsing with libdsm

it's not responding to a smb broadcast.

it's fine with me. libsmbclient sees it when browsing for a source and I know it's probably something I did anyway.

nbtstat -r on that win10 box please.
