Exclude path from library is off
THE TVDB is highlighted
In file view I see icons for each shows folder, but the first folder's contents show meta posters of episodes of VaranTV. In long click/TV Show Information it offers the correct name. I select that. It's runs some kind of quick routine. At the home TV Shows screen it shows just 7 episodes of Varan TV. In TV shows its displays just VaranTV. Episodes 14(1).
Ran update library a few times, no change. Back to Video Files I see folder icons for each series still, but the folder contents are corrupt, showing metadata (with episode images) of VaranTV.
Removing Source for the "TV" share again to try again, this time checking Exclude Path from Libray Updates. Long press "Scan for new content" (I forgot that last time!!!).
Dang! Everything now looks perfect!
I'm thinking now that I confused Update Library with Scan for new Content??? Or did I need Eclude Path?
Is this user error? Be honest with me
When I look close at a library update I still see the word VaranTV fly by, but nothing seems corrupted... Yet.
The key will be what happens when a new tv show is added. I'll try to test that soon.
