I see the same error on Android 9 (Huawei P30 pro) with version 3.9-2

Looks like it’s server related, you have movies and tv show sections setup on the server?

Yes. I have few movies libraries and few tv-show libraries.

I found that connect.mediabrowser.tv changed to connect.emby.media sometime, seems to work for others but not for you.

I have changed the url to connect.emby.media, lets see if that fixes it for you .. you can sign up for Beta testing on Google play store and once we have the new build you will be notified

let us know please if that fixes it for you
