the aim was to mimic what apple does, I have no idea if we are close to it :)

we have left 1.1.0 remote behaviour as default, we will see what the response is and maybe make switch it over to apple feel later

Currently watching a movie and I've paused it twice so far. Both times, on resume, the audio has been totally out of whack. I've had to stop and resume at which point it sorts itself out (though I've had to set a permanent 0.100s offset to get it perfect).

When I get a chance I'll see if it happens to other files.

I'm having trouble with the Kodi remote app when trying to view movies of a certain genre.

I get a Json error popup.

Code: Select all

XBMC JSON-RPC Error: Invalid params.
(Code: -32602)
Data: {
    message = "Too many parameters";
    method = "VideoLibrary.GetMovies";
    stack =     {
        name = sort;
        property =         {
            name = order;
            type = string;
        };
        type = object;
    };
}

METHOD
VideoLibrary.GetMovies

PARAMETERS
{genre=Music;properties=(year,playcount,rating,thumbnail,genre,runtime,trailer);sort={ignorearticle=0;method=label;order=ascending;};}

Tried the new remote settings as well, I find it hard to use in main menu as well, and I too have medium sensitivity.
Though I really like it in list views!

Nope, disabled. I may have enabled it once back in the very first version, and then disabled it again, not sure if something has gotten stuck somewhere ;)
I'm not involved in testing (hopefully some day..), but try to completely reboot the Apple TV. This was the trick to enable the PVR function in the official release for me. Might as well give you the desired result of disabling the PVR function again.

Already tried that unfortunately.

After normally disabling the TV function as per amet's suggestion and restarting MrMC (1.1.0), the PVR client is actually disabled and doesn't start scanning for PVR services, so it is unfortunately something else on your end.

Hmm, don't know if there is much more useful info I can give you, I tried browsing by film genre when that error popped up.
In the Kodi remote app.

The only option is to copy the error to clipboard.
Then the pop-up disappears and reveals an empty list.

I'll be glad to answer more questions and give you more info, I just don't know what helps you as of now.

Here's the full log:

http://pastebin.com/HjibnJq5

But from what I could make out of the log, it doesn't create an entry there for that event.

Just back from holidays.

Just wondering, did you make any changes to playback ? For some reason in this version, the lipsync is all over the place. Something like -0.2 to -0.5 seconds delay. I think there used to be a small issue in my setup, but in this latest version it is really bad. I checked the same streams with other video players, e.g. Infuse and those are ok. I checked a couple of recent TV shows and movies, both with AC3 audio (via bypass) and just compressed.
