set log to debug. it shows much more info
play your DTS-HD 5.1, then let me see logs
I do notice this:
ERROR: Create - Error creating /var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/DFECEBFB-8028-472B-9CD0-4ED56F9BA30F/Library/Caches/home/userdata/addon_data/pvr.mythtv/cache/
I have to double check that path. Smells funny.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: DTS-HD support with DTS unchecked in audio settings
see what I said above about using the web GUI to display codec info.spmcewen wrote: 28 Apr 2017, 11:26 oh - I actually do understand that. I know my Denon will never show DTS-HD with this setup. My original question was how could do I really know DTS-HD MA versus the DTS Core is being decoded to the multichannel LPCM? I have 5.1 speakers and my source file is 5.1 DTS-HD MA - it's not 7.1.

I did that and it looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/qpoOw8W.jpg -- Audio: DTS (DTS-HD MA)cosmoxl wrote: 28 Apr 2017, 12:50 see what I said above about using the web GUI to display codec info.
It's the same no matter how many channels I have enabled or if I have passthrough enabled or not. With passthrough disabled it's still not clear to me if MrMC is converting the full lossless DTS-HD MA to multichannel PCM or if it is converting the lossy DTS core to PCM.
I'm basing my question on the details of DTS here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DTS-HD_Ma ... ompression
I'm not in front of my apple tv at the moment but will take a look at the debug level logs later.
