Re: Deleting
Same here. That's exactly what I'd like to see. Single item delete.CallClear wrote: 23 Jun 2017, 15:51That would be perfect for me. I normally delete the recording immediately after I watch it so its always single item anyways.davilla wrote: 23 Jun 2017, 13:15 The only way we would allow this (to keep bad things from happening) is to only allow single item delete. No deleting of entire folders or roots.

Re: Deleting
I've been testing this out and it is working great!!
The one thing I can't remember is where to enable and disable deleting in MrMC settings. I've always had it enabled so I can't remember where it is...but I wanted to test that it does restrict you if you have it disabled in MrMC. I thought it was in MrMC-->Appearance-->File Lists-->Allow File Renaming and Deletion. But I disabled that setting and it still let me delete from Plex. Is there another place?
A few cosmetic items I thought I just mention even though I'm pleased as punch (whatever that means..):
--When deleting a TV show, the title message says "Remove Movie From Library"
--The message warns that the media will be removed from the library. Kodi makes a distinction between being "removed from the library" and "deleted". For consistency and to eliminate confusion, it might be worth changing the wording to indicate that it is actually being deleted.
One final question that has nothing to do with the delete functionality:
I noticed that swiping up and down on the apple tv remote just does 10 minute skips and no longer does chapter prev/next when chapters are present. Is this intended? I don't mind because I use a remote with prev/next chapter programmed in anyways...but wanted to point it out just in case.

Re: Deleting
I feel like I'm missing something.
The developers seem to see a qualitative difference between deleting shared library files from MrMC's Kodi client and deleting Plex server files from MrMC's Plex client. Not much concern about the former, but moderate consternation about the latter, even though the latter is under the direct control of whoever sets up the Plex server.
I'm not trying to make a point here; just trying to understand the reticence.

I understand that it has been added, but only after significant debate.
