1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: testing MrMC 3.0.4
Strange, if libsmbclient can see it, libdsm should be also able to see it. Do you have user/pass set for this share ?

yes, user/pass required on my windows 10 machine's shared folders.davilla wrote: 23 May 2017, 16:45Strange, if libsmbclient can see it, libdsm should be also able to see it. Do you have user/pass set for this share ?
Speaking of user/pass, my NAS has anonymous access to media folders yet libdsm keeps asking for user/pass. libsmbclient correctly accesses those folders without asking for user/pass, and does ask for user/pass for folders with restricted access.

Re: testing MrMC 3.0.4
I think Amet's previous reply to me is correct regarding libdsm and accessing my windows machine. I must have messed with NTLM or the SMB version or something.davilla wrote: 23 May 2017, 17:241st is a strange one.cosmoxl wrote: 23 May 2017, 17:22 yes, user/pass required on my windows 10 machine's shared folders.

Any word if libdsm now works with SMB on OS X 10.11.5 or higher? This broke over a year ago.

Okay I will test it later when I have a moment. I had followed the thread on GitHub and there wasn't any apparent progress.

We dev MrMC under a private repo, so changes to the public repo only show up when we release a version bump.jabohn wrote: 23 May 2017, 18:29 Okay I will test it later when I have a moment. I had followed the thread on GitHub and there wasn't any apparent progress.
As for that thread on libdsm repo. Uncertain. Until someone re-tests might still effect 10.11.5. All I know right now is I can access osx test smb shares on a 10.12.4 box.
