I can't get MrMC to create a full music library. I can get it to create the folders so that when I click on "Files" I can see these. Holding down the touch pad brings up the menu where I can then choose the "Scan item to library" option. It scans a few folders within the chosen folder (it has scanned 5) but then it just stops. I've tried removing the folder that it doesn't fully scan to see if it would then scan another folder instead, but no such luck.
The "Movies" and "TV Shows" libraries have been correctly and fully created.
I've gone for the MySQL setup, both the music and video db's have been created.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back

Re: Can't get MrMC to create music library
Same here!
MySQL, music folders scan suddenly aborted.
NFS shared folder.
I got it scanning from folders beginning with A-F but ignored the rest.
When I scanned from Kodi on my FTV it found the rest and added them successfully.
It's as though maybe it chokes on a certain string, character or length of a folder name and just refuses to go past?
