SMB shares stopped working, OS X 10.11.5 beta

After I installed BETA 2 of OS X 10.11.5, my SMB shares are no longer working in MrMC.

- Trying to play an existing item in my library, it says it's no longer available
- Trying to open and manually browse my share, it asks for the username and password but it doesn't accept it
- Trying to add a share again, it asks for username and password but it doesn't accept it

I have libdsm enabled. I have tried rebooting, restarting MrMC, turning off File Sharing and turning it back on, removing the shared folders and re-adding them. Nothing works so far. I verified that the IP address is correct and unchanged.

In the meantime, I've switched back to using SMBup and disabled libdsm. It just seems to work a bit better and it's easier to set up a new share than with libdsm.

I dont have any issues with dsm, it just works but all my shares are setup and never change.

issue might be with the beta version of OSX software, once its released we can look into any changes they made and adjust libdsm but my money is on some internal glitch in beta version being a culprit for the error you are seeing.

There seems to be a few holes with libdsm interopt with libsmbclient. Something we are working on resolving. Depends greatly on how things are setup and if mysql external database is involved.

I'm not using SQL, just a normal shared folder on my mac.

It's my guess as well that the OS X beta did something so maybe I can report that to Apple so they will at least take a look?

No change with the new OS X beta this week.

Still no change with the latest 10.11.5 beta and the TestFlight for 2.2 although I noticed libdsm was enabled by default now (but it still works with SMBup).
