Re: tvOS Testing 2.0.0 (160314.1708)
with my setup, NextPVR on windows 10 machine with a Hauppauge TV card, I'm still seeing long buffer times. I tested with and without timeshift enabled. It can be slightly annoying for the impatient but the time makes perfect sense - it can only buffer as fast as the stream is broadcast.

sure, tested my laptop with Kodi 16.0. It takes around 3 seconds to buffer. MrMC on ATV4 takes 8 seconds. MrMC used to be about 3 seconds with previous versions.
Also, just to remove any question of connection quality, both devices are less than a meter from a wireless ac access point. That access point is connected by cat5e at 1 gigabit/s to my desktop which hosts files and NextPVR.

I'm working on it. Tried to paste kodi log but pastebin says it's too big. I guess I need to disable some component logging.davilla wrote:would like to see mrmc.log with debug enabled on both.cosmoxl wrote:davilla wrote:

Re: tvOS Testing 2.0.0 (160314.1708)
Are there plans in place to polish the SIO2 skin further?
I like the look better than standard Confluence (although not as much as Estuary has grown on me
) but whilst setting everything up today I noted a number of relatively minor issues/annoyances.
1. Once the OSD is displayed it took me a little while to work out that the long-press brought up the 'side-bar' menu - that up arrow displayed on the blade convinced me that I was supposed to either use Up or navigate down to it - neither of which worked
2. Once I brought up that menu it's unobvious how to navigate the options
3. When setting the audio delay - it would be useful if the scale had some meaning - the movements are currently minute - I hate to think how much of a delay/advance you can set - and worry for anyone who had to set it at more than 1 second either way! I still haven't worked out how to reliable make the audio delay slider move - it's very hit and miss and having to continually revert back to the menu to see the delay length is very annoying.
4. When adding sources it lost all highlighting of the current object and it was only a slightly grey > icon at the end that gave it away - can we have the standard reverse highlighting?
Scanning a movie source and trying to watch a tv show at the same time wasn't a pleasant experience as everything turned into a slideshow, but maybe that's just expecting too much of the ATV
Although maybe it's related to the new audio stuff from v17 too.. it's just a drive-by comment rather than proven currently.
I'll make no comment about the remote and it's over-sensitivity when scrolling horizontal lists - I know it's a much debated point
Chris

Re: tvOS Testing 2.0.0 (160314.1708)
Regarding the problem I had with ISO-files from the other thread. It seems to have been a timeout issue. Wien I copied the file to another harddrive instead of my NAS it lades fine in Mrmc. Would be nice with an error message though, now it just loads the next file after the timeout.
