Trakt marking wrong movie as watched

For some reason, whenever I watch a movie through MrMC, it marks the wrong movie as watched. For example I've just finished watching Transformers and instead of marking that as watched it will always be this movie called 'XX' (https://trakt.tv/movies/xx-2017).

Whilst I'm watching the movie, it'll check in correctly with Trakt so it'll say 'You are watching Transformers' but once I've finished it'll mark it finished with this 'XX' movie.

For TV Shows, everything works fine. It's just with movies.

seems like its always sending title as "XX" .. and all IDs point out to the "XX" movie. is this the case with all movie files or only some?

any chance you can give me access to the server? I would love to see how that movie is identified and why it sends incorrect info. if yes, please contact me on support at mrmc tv

It does this with every movie I've tried watching. Because the servers movie library has thousands of movies, I can't say if it affects every movie but I've watched about 10 movies and its done it for every one.

Yes, it's a plex server but it's not my own. I'm paying for a plex share so I'm not going to be able to add you that way.
