Shield support from MrMC dead?

Shield support seems to have been ditched? Frame skipping a MAJOR issue and still not fixed? No reply from Devs, who seem to spend all resources on Apple TV?

No reply on a topic since 20 Mar 2020, 14:17? Come on guys, this is a paid product. If you don't know why something is happening at least tell us, or ask us how we can help you get more info?

The silent treatment isn't a great look

i've literally had to move all five shields in the house back to using Plex, as i consider MrMC unusable until this is fixed.

Shield support is not dead...

Development is split in 2+1, tvOS(davilla)and Android(koying), me on skin and other non platform specific things. Reason you are seeing more movement on tvOS side is the fact that davilla has more time right now.

Koying is busy currently and is(or will be) looking at playback issues

Hope that this clears it a bit for you, if at any point we decide to ditch Android as a platform we will let everyone know well in advance, but that doesn’t seem like a possibility any time soon.
