Stuttering/chopy video / frame drops?

Post by robin90 »

Hello everyone!

Lets start with the specs.
  • Local Samba NAS
    ATV 4K, using ethernet cable.
So starting 1-2 weeks back some of the video sources i have on my nas has begun to stutter/chop throughout the whole video. I haven't changed any settings in MrMC, and my nas hasn't been modified either.
I was watching a movie witch had zero problems, but when i watch web rips it comes almost instantly in every source i try.

I got one example video.
H264 MPEG 4-AVC, 1280x720, 25 FPS, MPEG AAC Audio (MP4A)

I have reeboted the NAS and ATV but problem still persists.
Anyone got any idea what problem it could be, or is it just my video source thats bad?

Watching the video source from my computer using VLC causes no stutter or choppiness at all.
