We don’t follow Kodi release cycle, we did not state or promise that MrMC will follow Kodi database.

We maintained the Kodi database compatibility until now and it might still come, but it will be done when it’s done.

So far only handful of users have requested this and it takes a back seat to other bugs and improvements that we feel are more important and needed.

I hope this makes it clearer.

Well, 18 went final nearly 6 months ago.

We will bump the database version to match Kodi 18 once 18 is released, you will be able to update MrMC Lite and test v18 database compatibility with Kodi before buying.
