Tsmuxer will not reconize the DV videofile and import just the audio.

thanks, that worked. yeah I get the same result as you. demuxing the mp4 seems to just strip off the metadata. it's interesting though, because it's only baselayer+rpu, whereas the single layer LG DV demo files are baselayer+el+rpu. so when you demux the LG demos you lose rpu but it still has baselayer+el dolby vision profile 5.06. but demuxing the mp4 reverts it back to profile 5.01 with no mention of dolby vision at all. I'm not sure how it can have dolby vision with only rpu and no enhancement layer, because I don't understand enough of how dv works. I do think I can multiplex it into x265 though, as it now supports Dolby vision, then I can add in hd-audio and strip out the ac3 since tsmuxer is a bust.

and we have playback in MrMC (3.9.0)

videotoolbox codec for now as avfoundation codec is missing hev1 (in-stream sps/pps/vps)

yay, that is awesome it works! it should have ac3 audio, just maybe not his sample though. but they're so simple to make with dvdfab's fancy gui and all. you should grab the trial ( https://www.dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.ph ... 1_x64_FULL ), you get 3 full conversions before you need a license, and give it a go on a dolby vision bdmv folder or uhd disc you have. then you can test it all out properly. I'm still working on converting these .mp4's to .ts files with the lossless audio from the disc, cuz since both these single layer mp4s and LG's DV demo ts files now work, I have high hopes for MrMC becoming the ultimate media center

MrMC 3.9.0 goes through testflight first. For testing

Then release. Release depends on testing feedback.

I'm currently chasing a seek bug that seems related to avfoundation codec and this particular sample having no audio stream. Would really like to get a sample with audio, don't care what type of audio stream.
