so that's twice now you're not using a full mkv remux :p if the m2ts is 4x the size of the mkv, the compressed mkv will clearly not work. how are you making these mkv files? if it's a direct rip of the uhd-bd, it will be within a few hundred mb's of the m2ts.
this one wasn't an mkv file it was m2ts.
The main stream is reencoded to 40-45GB with Handbrake in settings I'm leaving framerate as original maybe I should force it to 23.976p.
Why should it be a problem if you reencode to less size of main stream ?
Why is it reported as 48i ...no other program report it as 48i only your program.
What parameters are the program comparing the framerate with?

there's a good chance it's handbrake, yeah. especially since it says the video bitsream framerate is different than the timestamp, so it's getting a bad feed. can I ask why you're messing with it though? don't even touch it. just use the original m2ts file from the bdmv\streams folder of the uhd-bd and you'll be fine. if really want mkv for some reason, use makemkv to create a lossless remux or dl the remux only. if the video tracks are left untouched from the disc, it should always make a working mp4. audio tracks however can be manipulated since doesn't affect dv. compressing / reencoding though messes with the baselayer / dv layer and causes errors.

I have done 20 reencode since handbrake started to use cpu+gpu acceleration when encoding and it works pretty well except for mp4 Dolby vision.
Your program works on original untouched movies and plays fine on LG OLED B7.
I was using reencoded files because thats what I allready had on harddrive.
Did not know they were a mess...
ah I see, yea storage can definitely be a bitch sometimes. if it's any consolation the dv mp4 can be about 15gb less than the full disk since all the hd-audio tracks, special features, pgs files etc are gone. maybe just delete the crap movies once you've watched them?

Unfortunately MrMC can only playback dolby vision from single layer video files. Currently there is no public software available to create these types of files. However, depending on your TV / UHD-BD Player, you may be able to get DV from these dual layer mp4's using either usb or plex.
DVDFab 11.0.3.4 can now create single layer DV mp4's with ac3 5.1 audio that should play great in MrMC (the free trial gives you 3 converts). They are compressed however but not by a huge amount, less than the x265 bd rips you find. Add your movie, choose the MP4.DolbyVision profile (no passthrough), set the quality to max (50gb limit) and hit go (the MP4.DolbyVision passthrough profile will make a lossless video dual layer mp4 like mp4muxer does). I'm sure we can then just demux these single layer mp4s with dolby mp4demuxer then mux the video track with the lossless audio from the disc and make a single layer m2ts file for MrMC with hd audio as the ATV4K supports passthrough. This would be the first software to support dolby vision and hd-audio simultaneously (save for maybe plex on an LG TV with e-arc) as you currently need a uhd bd player for that. unfortunately my old crappy laptop doesn't cut it (hangs around 12% forever) for creating these single layer mp4s, but I've seen them work from others and the quality is awesome. if anyone wants to try, and be the first to achieve this feat, I will guide you through the whole process
