Hi guys a newbie here so apologies if I am posting in the wrong place. I am a big fan of MrMC and use it on my iOS and Android streaming devices as the standard way to access my LAN media files and HDHomerun TV. I’m also a bit of an automation freak with automated lights, curtains blinds and everything else that can be automated I can find (even my bin!). I’ve been using the Amazon Echo voice controllers and associated skills which work well so was excited to see Paul Hibbert’s YouTube tutorial on the Kodi-connect project and it’s remarkable capabilities with Kodi see here : https://youtu.be/b07KPJ3pkiE
What is the process to get an addon added to the MrMC addon depository ? Would it be possible to add the one referenced here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/oj9bqe1kzl18y ... 7.zip?dl=0
The addon would allow MrMC to be controlled using Amazon Echo and would be really useful to have available for those tinkering with automation using The Echo voice controllers.
What’s the process to get this addon I added?
Thanks
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

We would have to review what it does and what it needs. Currently we are in testflight for v3.7.0, feature freeze as we are stabilizing for a release.Pauleec wrote: ↑01 Jul 2018, 08:40 Hi guys a newbie here so apologies if I am posting in the wrong place. @davilla
Hey,
I'm the developer of Kodi connect addon.
Source code is actually available on Github: https://github.com/kodi-connect/kodi-connect-addon
It should already be ready to get submitted to official Kodi addon repository (https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on_rules), I just didn't have time to go through with it, and also, some smaller features are missing
