Testing MrMC 3.7.0 - [Invites Closed]

Seems that TV Shows is now the first row on the home shelf. I would prefer films not only because that's what i mostly watch but also because, for me at least, tv show home shelf shows a row of the same thumbnail since i would normally add a whole series the "recently added" is a list of a single show/series. i think in skins it is more usual to have film before tv shows?

I think we're of the opposite viewpoint again. We watch a lot more TV shows, so that being first is beneficial to me and my family. Movies is generally only on the weekends for us.

Maybe this was asked before..is it possible to change "recently added" to a kind of "next aired"? I mean when i am watching a tv show, it would be nice if the homeshelf could highlight my last seen show as a suggestion for continuing watching.

We are in feature freeze for 3.7, let’s discuss further improvements when 3.7 is ironed out and released.

Emby Servers (Two on Synology, DS918+ and DS415+, one running under Windows 10):

1) Emby connect (PIN) sign-in:
Only one Emby Server (out of three) shows up in the list on the home page. I have opened a different WAN port for each server (local ports are all the same 8096).

2) Manual (local) sign-in:
In Settings/Services/Emby client/Manual sign-in/Browse only one server shows up. I can force sign-in to one server by entering its IP and User Name, but then the Browse option does not show the other two.

Signing out and in again, force quitting MrMC did not help.

To summarise, It is not possible to get all (local) Emby servers listed.
I am sure this has worked before (3.6.x, not sure about the version no.)

I see 3 servers here, so it works... but there might be a different issue on your end

It is working again, and here what I didi in case somebody else encounters the same issue:
- reset the router
- reset the settings for the Emby client in MrMC
- relinked the servers with my Emby Connect User

I must be idiotic but I cant get used to the changes made to the default theme.

Whenever I paused the the movie for changing whatever setting (subtitles, audio etc.) I always mess up and end up jumping back 10 min, quitting the movie, jumping ahead 10 min or whatever thing imaginably but actually resuming the movie again.

I recall that before 3.7.0 I never had this sort of fuckups, it is like if someone customized their personal settings on the standard behavior of the app controls without letting me know about it, it is driving me crazy.

Again, the new video player GUI controls are more complex without adding anything that couldn't be done before. There are so many layers, you have to hit up, back down, left, triangle... heck! I feel like back in the PS1 cheating combos era

Message with "New default Skin" doesn't pop up when "Show login screen on startup" is selected in General profile settings.

This is causing an automatic switch to Ariana without message, for users who use the login screen and load a profile...

Found it strange that from a previous build that all my profiles defaulted to Ariana when logging in and now I know why

BTW, this is the longest Testflight thread it seems, compared to all previous Testflight threads of MrMC

I agree! Ironing out can also mean to make the Media buttons (Movies, Music, Music Videos, TV Shows, etc.) appear in an Alphabetic order.

Being a nitpicker myself I suppose we are getting pretty close to release if this is our biggest bug

On a more serious note this would move Videos under "sing-in XY server" item, right?
