Post by amet »

Please use this ONLY if you have downloaded 1.1.1 (160102.1744), version number can be seen in TestFlight app

please avoid posting "I would love to test" posts, lets keep this for testing only.

changes since last version:
- [fixed] json crashing, kodi iOS remote, play video
- add Amber skin
- dd PM3HD
- Match Apple tvOS Standard (Siri remote), remote handling from 1.1.0 is still there. 1.1.0 is default for now... optionally disable remote swipes in osd, settings -> input devices
- add Universal Movie Scraper(metadata.universal), needs
- ability to access mrmc.log, enable webserver -> go to http://<appleTV.IP>:<port>
- fixed, hang when using play/pause when resuming

changes since 1.1.1 (151230.1847)

+ fixed, dont exit to appletv when context menu is up. e.g. resume popup on recently added
+ add setting for Siri remote to disable swipes in OSD, only edge taps will work
+ add libdsm, smbX(OS X samba implementation) should be fully supported now

libdsm notes:

enable libdsm in settings->services->smb client
existing smb sources should just work fine, no need to delete/add them

Mr. Davilla, can you please add Pecinko's QUARTZ skin in the next update? This would be a great skin addition to MrMC.

Thanks in advance.

About "disable remote swipes in osd": I have to set this option to False/Off to actually disable the remote swipes while watching something. So I think you mixed up either the label or the boolean ;)

This doesn't work for me, with it set on or off.

Also, Live TV doesn't stop the screen saver from kicking off. Not sure if it's a known issue or not.

Edit to add - Using the PVR HDHomeRun

Speaking of PVR, I have all that disabled but every time I start up MrMC (not just this beta, every version so far) I get the following message:

PVR MANAGER IS STARTING UP
No PVR clients have been started yet. Wait for the PVR clients to start up. Check the log for more information about this message.

Any idea how I can make that permanently bugger off? :D

There's a minor typo in the swipe disable option (controlls).

I can't actually use the "match apple TVOS standard" option though as when I enable it and swipe left or right, it flies past multiple times (I hear about 5 audio clicks at once). I'm swiping left/right as slowly as possible too. I actually had a really hard time turning it off as I couldn't land on the right option to disable it :D

it might need sensitivity tweaks, but general idea is that swipes are the same as apple has done. slow pace swipe will go 4-5 clicks. fast one up to 12 clicks.

Nope, disabled. I may have enabled it once back in the very first version, and then disabled it again, not sure if something has gotten stuck somewhere ;)

Yep fair enough, it kind of makes it impossible to navigate the menu's though. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this though so not sure if it's unique to me for some reason (I have the touch sensitivity set to low in the ATV menu).
