I've tried jabohn's post also and gotten the same results, no meta data other than the posters. And from trying his instructions now I have several redundant file shares showing (2)(3), etc, and I can't figure out how to delete the duplicate shares.
If you select your "file shares" and keep holding the apple remote button you will have a menu with "Remove source" possibility.

Also I have realized that scraping does not work with UPnp shares...

That's why it is not working, you should go for SMB shares or NFS shares.

I have my videos on a WD My Cloud and I find it through UpnP but there is no metadata. I just have all the videos shown with no Cover information or anything.

Tried Infuse and it find metadata esaily :(

How to get a nice overview ?

Ohh I have read it now but how do I know what my WD My Cloud have as servername/sharename ?

I´m not so good to this computer thing :-/

Hmm, a quick google search suggests that you can open the settings page for it by entering wdmycloud.local as web address in your browser.

There you should be able to turn on either SMB or NFS, find the IP-address of your WD and enter that address in MrMC.

I think there are pretty good guides for that on the Kodi support forums.
