Most of Apple's guide lines for it are more game driven than our type of app. So, we made several judgement calls that might not have been the best ones. Still, given that we only had real physical ATV4s when it was released to the public, I think we did an ok job. Other apps had physical ATV4s a full month before we did.
great to hear that it has high priority.
two things that I hope the coming changes will include:
1) video playback controls: such as rev/ff is smooth and consistent with other apps, Netflix and youtube.
2) UI navigation: ability to quickly go back to home screen or to launch favorite screen from any where. currently it takes to many clicks to back to home screen.

I´ve not used MrMC in depth, but sometimes when i´m not in the main menu and press menu button of the remote to go back, it directly exits to tvOS. Is it just me?
Thank you.
the menu button works like the old apple remote on ATV 2 and 3. if you hold it too long, it will take you to the apple tv home screen, similar to the home button on the new apple remote.
Thanks for the tip, i will try again when i´m back home. I think I didn´t hold it for too long. Maybe i should press the button faster.
It does need some work, it works ok but i would like it to behave more like other TVos apps.
In MRMC, when i do a full swipe its like i press a button. It does one jump in the direction i swiped.
In other apps selection jumps maybe 2 times when i do a half swipe on the touch surface and 4 times when i do a full swipe.
Its more like it follows your thumb when you move it over the touch surface rather than just interpret a full swipe as a keypress.
More like how a touchpad on a laptop moves the cursor, but only up, down, left and right of course.
Other than that its working great for me, really fast, smooth playback. Love it.
I want to add one thing, the scrubbing does not work good for me, I've been thinking maybe its because i set the sensitivity on the apple remote to high. Will try to change it.
am i the only one that cannot use the Apple Remote to navigate tru MrMc (Kodi) ?? I bought and installed it but i want to add my Synology nas but i only can go left and right but when i click the menu`s nothing happens ?? I tap i click but i cannot get in no where ??
GoGo, I had issues in the area I think you're talking about too. I just kept swiping up and down and right and left until it eventually selected the lower buttons you need to get to. I think if you try swiping right to select the scroll bar and then down and left that might help.

I am on the "selected lower buttons" For example i`am on the "Add-ons" lower button for "Music" but when i click on the remote to go in the "Add-ons" part nothing happens :S I also tried to tap the remote.
Its really frustrating, i mean i love the work and the end product and that we have MrMC (Kodi) on Apple TV but my god i hate that i cant navigate it :S
I've been using the official Kodi remote (in app store) on my iphone to control MrMC. Anybody frustrated with the apple TV remote control of MrMC might try that.
