Kodi 18 and MrMC

Hi,

i am new on MrMC.

i have for now 2 kodi :
- one "master" with mysql and files (Windows 10)
- one "slave" that connects t the "master" (LibreELEC)

I installed on my iphone and apple tv mrmc.

i have configured the sql client as needed (and it doesn't support an ip address as server).
It has created a database for music and videos.
But they are empty.

Is there a way to use the same database on kodi and mrmc ?
can it be because i am on kodi 18 ?

MrMC is compatible with Kodi 17.x database, 18.x database compatibility will come once Kodi has released final version

can you confirm that when v18 will be released, i will be able to use/share the samedatabase to have the viewed items ?

is it possible to try a pre-release version ?

i am not opposed to buy the full version, but i need to be sure and test it (because on my phone it doesn't show the right title, only sXXeXX.showname)

We will bump the database version to match Kodi 18 once 18 is released, you will be able to update MrMC Lite and test v18 database compatibility with Kodi before buying.
