New Emby Server 4.0.0.0 breaks MrMC Client access Topic is solved

Emby Manual sign-in is broken with latest Emby Server 4.0.0.0 beta.
Pin request sign-in only works now. Did a back check with previous Emby beta 3.6.0.84 and manual sign-in works in this version.

Could you guys take a look at this, because Emby Server 4.0.0.0 is about to go out of beta in the next couple of days, so all MrMC users who are on Emby stable release channel, will be affected (who are using manual sign-in for the Emby Client service in MrMC).

To add to that:

Emby Pin request sign-in does NOT work in MrMC on my iOS devices (on tvOS pin request sign-in does work), so Emby access is completely broken in MrMC on iOS devices

Hmm, I think I found the reason In Emby server 4.0.x branch why MrMC refuses manual sign-in...

Something must be changed in 4.0.x branch when external access is set to "No access" in Emby server, which now prevents MrMC to let the Emby Client service to log in manually.

My Emby Server is always set to "No external access" (only when needed) and when I allow external access in Emby server, manual sign-in from MrMC works (only tested iOS, so I assume tvOS also works).

Yes, with remote access disabled, LAN access previously in pre Emby 4.0.x branch, MrMC Emby access was always possible with manual sign-in

Than your fresh Emby install will have solved it

We had this problem previously in the Emby tvOS app long long time ago, so I'm afraid existing Emby users with no fresh install may experience the same now.

just to be clear, I upgraded my server from 3.8.*(I think) to 4.0.0.1
