Re: Short Timeout to access networks locations

I checked the option "Share disks over WAN" set the Workgroup. my files in MrMc A added searching for samba share providing the user...

Re: Short Timeout to access networks locations

Hi, I am using the Apple Time Capsule: There I created a samba share using the build in function, which I am accessing from MrMC, all devices are on the same workgroup. There is user and password authentication required for this connection. The IP of this share is the same as the IP of the router it...

Re: Short Timeout to access networks locations

I have enabled this option (libdsm), but as soon as I accessed the files, the application crashed. I tried several times with fresh new start also. Should this option be enabled before you add files to your library, or it should not matter? Just wondering if I could help here debug some more for bet...

Re: Waiting for a hard drive to wake up

Hi guys, I am pretty sure that the Wake-On lan funcionality would be great, but some network HDDs (not necessarily NAS per say), just like for example the TimeCapsule from apple, do not need this. I know that specifically for apple time capsule the Wake function is totally useless (I tested it with ...

Re: Short Timeout to access networks locations

Sorry I did not find this discussion. Anyhow, I tried to turn on the option to "wake upa servers", but that is absolutely not what I am talking about. The thing is, that I do not need to "try to wake the server", ie I do not need to send any WAKE command (WOL). All I believe should be adjusted is, t...

Short Timeout to access networks locations

Hi, I am using the Apple TV connected to Apple Time Capsule. The airport Time Capsule goes to sleep after a specific time. It then wakes up by simply accessing it on the network share (it is not the Wake On LAN signal!!!), but this takes some time - I am guessing about 10 seconds max. What happens i...

Re: Video playback issues - files over cca 2GB

Yeah, but I was still wondering, is there an option to change the something like there was the Advancedsettings.xml in KODI? There is some networks parameters that might help for this time of issues: <network> <curlclienttimeout>10</curlclienttimeout> <!-- Timeout in seconds for libcurl (http/ftp) c...

Re: Video playback issues - files over cca 2GB

Hi guys, I tried to connect with wifi, I hape Time Capsule by apple - placed right next to the apple tv - now the connection speed is showing 300Mbit (not actual throughput, because it does not consider the encryption...), but this is definitely faster the the cable LAN connection. Well I have used ...

@Looxoor
I will try, but since in other players it's showing fine, so I am not sure...
@Davilla
it was doing the same thing on other files, but I will retest and post the result.
