Re: Nvidia Shield and 'AV Connectivity' drive

I have an external DVD drive (Asus SDRW-08U7M-U), which has AV connectivity. This rara avis enables it to be used for DVD-playback via MrMC. No probs with DVDs and their menus -- BUT, I cannot get CDs to be seen. I have played around with Settings a bit, and tried the drive both IN and OUT of 'AV c...

Re: Small annoying issue with Alexa

There were no changes made to the delete functions since version 8.50, so its probably a system issue. Maybe you could think upgrading at least to Windows 7 1st and final warning @FrankPax. Your post are way off topic and smells like a spammer warming up. Stay on thread topic or the next time you w...

Re: tvOS 12.3 changed handling of content match frame rate ??

Are you comparing the difference between the different versions of MrMC on the same stream ? As in today ?

Because you are pvr and looking at live streams, something could have changed with the stream source encoding between today and a month ago.

Re: tvOS 12.3 changed handling of content match frame rate ??

@Davilla Regarding PVR’s, why are same PVR’s in Kodi 18.2 doing refresh rate switching with same channels on same display, if you say it’s a PVR Server issue ?! I see errors from ffmpeg complaining about SPS/PPS. With h264, those need to be present or the stream is garbage. Maybe Kodi 18.2 uses a d...

Re: A tvOS Dev Looking to Understand how MrMrc did frame rate matching

I don't think you can do this directly in swift. you need an obj-c helper to do it,

Re: 5.1 vs 7.1 audio settings for 5.2.2 speakers and Denon receiver

The only atmos that gets passed unaltered is eac3/atmos.

truehd/atmos will get decoded to multichannel pcm. Since most truehd/atmos is 7.1, I'd stick with MrMC and 7.1 channels. Let the denon figure out how to map it.
