Re: Pin Android Apps to Home screen and start Apps from there

Functionality is definitely still there, so must be a skin issue. @amet any idea? It is a special case of "Program" extension... Okay, thanks for the fast reply, will need to check in the evening when I switch skin. Would be nice, if it is working, to have a possibility to pin those apps on the Hom...

Pin Android Apps to Home screen and start Apps from there

Would it be possible to simply have the functionality to start other Android Apps from within MrMC? I would like to use MrMC as my main GUI on my Fire TV and start on demand other Apps I occasionally use like Netflix from within MrMC. So Ending these Apps would bring me back to MrMC. Is it possible ...

Yep. If you allow Mediacodec (either) for the codec (MPEG2, I guess), deinterlacing will be done by the stick.
Cool, thanks for the fast response and great Support.

Re: Fire TV 4k Stick now supports hardware h264 deinterlacing

Not sure what you mean by linking that exoplayer issue report. If AFTV4K starts supporting HW deinterlacing, it'll be automatically picked up if you set MPEG2 to HW decoding... It was just ment to show that hardware h264 1080i deinterlacing should now work on the Fire TV 4k Stick. So if understood ...

Fire TV 4k Stick now supports hardware h264 deinterlacing

Now that hardware based h264 1080i deinterlacing is supported on the Fire TV 4k Stick (see: https://github.com/amzn/exoplayer-amazon-port/issues/81 ), is it possible that MrMC makes use of that? It is really the only missing piece on the Fire TV. Thanks for the great App and the awesome support here...

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0 - [Invites Closed]

Is someone on TestFlight on a Fire TV 3 and can say something about refresh rate switching in combination with Plex, is it working well? On the current release it is not.
