MrMC as an OTA PVR Client/Server

I'm current using a LibreELEC dual boot system on an Android box. I run the Tvheadend client and backend on it. I use a HDHomerun Connect Quatro for the OTA channels. I use Zap2EPG for my EPG data. Is there an analogous setup on MrMC for PVR use that doesn't have a fee?
Thanks

Re: Device Compatibility

I never did figure out how to install MrMC from the Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore but I managed to sideload MrMC Lite. It seems to be working as intended so I can now test the different features. This issue of installing from "official" sources needs to be addressed if people are expected to ...

Re: Device Compatibility

Someone reported being unable to install on Shield with unlocked bootloader... is that what rooted means in android world? Sort of. You need an unlocked bootloader to give root permissions. Edit: I guess the above statement is incorrect. You can have a rooted device with a locked bootloader. I don'...

Re: Device Compatibility

Are any of your AMLogic devices on the Google approved manufactures list? Good question! I had forgotten about the Mi Box which is a Google certified Amlogic box. Guess what, it does show up on that device. Other paid apps do show up on the noncertified boxes. So, I'm not exactly sure what is going...

Re: Device Compatibility

Yes, I "purchased" it for $0. I gives a warning that I may purchasing an app for a non-compatible device. It then tells me I need to install it manually by opening Amazon Underground, then go to Menu - My Apps - Cloud - Refresh to see app and install. Amazon Underground has been replaced by the Apps...

Re: Device Compatibility

So I tried registering my device per the instructions in the link. MrMC still does not show up for me in Google Playstore. However, Amazon let me purchase MrMC Lite. But it said I need to install it manually using Amazon Underground. I think Amazon Underground is now the Amazon App store. Either way...

Re: Device Compatibility

AZW is the parent/sister company of Beelink (which isn't on the list either). I don't think it is the issue of Google blocking my device since I don't get the message and I'm not aware of any other apps that should be compatible but aren't (I've installed SPMC from the Playstore). Is it possible it ...

Re: Device Compatibility

Should I ask this question in a different forum? I'm starting to suspect that MrMC isn't for standard Android devices.
Thanks
