Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0

Hey, I'm late to the party but I was able to test SMB3 connections to my Synology NAS. There were a few caveats however: I was not able to connect via the name of the server, only its IP address I had to enable libsmb2 only. libdsm and smb stat had to be both disabled for a successful connect This i...

Re: SMB support in MrMC?

Thanks for your comment however this thread is specifically about SMB2 support in MRMC. I suspect you are connecting to a SMB share with SMB1 which is all the software supports at the moment. Hopefully this will be sorted soon.

Re: SMB support in MrMC?

Hey team, thanks for the replies. I found that this problem also exists in the mainline Kodi v17.1 "Krypton" on my Mac as well. Looking at their forums the same question seem to have come up on this thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=314350. For my part in the MrMc debug logs the follow...

SMB support in MrMC?

I was recently looking at all the drama with WannaCry ransomware and was considering disabling SMB1 on all my servers. Unfortunately when I turned this off on my Synology NAS, my MrMC on my ATV4 could no longer see my content there. Can you confirm if MrMC can use SMB2 or higher for server connectio...

Re: tvOS testing 3.0.1 (170223.1644)

Just wanted to report that the test flight 3.0.1 installed seamlessly on my tvOS with no apparent issues with network playback (I use an SMB share for my video). The only thing I noted was in my attempt to switch skins from Amber (the one I use) to MrMC and back; the recently added Movie and TV tile...

Re: Future Skin Support

Thanks for your respective responses. I guess I was worried that MrMC may start falling behind over time but it seems from what you are saying that your product will tend to be more agile in its development and thus will continue to remain relevant. As such, should the Kodi team eventually release a...

Re: Future Skin Support

Hmm, I too was looking forward to Estuary as I thought it would have been in the v3 release. Hope there is something just as slick in its place. Also, what do you mean by too many changes? I initially purchased MrMC because I couldn't run Kodi on my AppleTV. I was hoping that for the most part that ...
