Testing MrMC 3.9.8 - Apple TV

Happy to report v3.9.8 appears to have been approved by Apple; was removed as a tester when the v4 was pushed out;, tonight (9pm ET) received notice Testflight v3.9.8 was available to install

installed on TVOS 14 Beta 6; working okay at the moment with the plex addon (always a better player than native plex app), next to try out 4K HDR

I'm currently back to version 3.9.7 because got problems with TV.

1. Long press on Center no longer shows the quick selection.
2. A short press on Center has been replaced by a tap.
3. the info can no longer be displayed by pressing Center -> Home.

Can anybody confirm this ?

I installed the latest tvOS beta. The problems do not appear with version 3.9.7.

I'm currently back to version 3.9.7 because got problems with TV.

1. Long press on Center no longer shows the quick selection.
2. A short press on Center has been replaced by a tap.
3. the info can no longer be displayed by pressing Center -> Home.

Can anybody confirm this ?

I installed the latest tvOS beta. The problems do not appear with version 3.9.7.

1. I get the quick selection with a long press
2. A short press brings up the overlay (info, live tv, subtitle, etc)
3. I’m not sure what you mean.

Can we report bugs if we're on tvOS 14? I've had some issues for awhile but was waiting for the final tvOS 14 release.

What issues are you seeing on tvos14? We don’t know if it’s on our end or Apple beta issue... hdr switching has been fixed.

Ya, I don't know if it's tvOS or not but around the time I started with tvOS 14 I was seeing these issues:
- some top shelf items on the tvOS Home Screen are blank
- badges on show artwork are often incorrect - for instance, a show doesn't have any numbered badge on it, when I open the show it says season 3 has 2 unwatched episodes but when I open season 3 there are actually 6 unwatched

And this one seemed to start with the new MrMC beta - I can no longer scrub through video with the trackpad. I click on the trackpad and the video pauses but swiping the pad no longer scrubs through the video.

I'm on my way out the door for the weekend so I'll try to get some logs when I get home.

not tvOS related, is it working fine in 3.9.7?we have not made any changes in that part of the code
